Adieu

Hello all and welcome back to another post from the cove! Well, this may be the last post from the cove.

You, my imaginary audience: "NOOO!!!"

Yes, yes, I know you're very sad, my average of 6 readers.

Fear not, for I may return again! I enjoy talking about characters and creating them with all of my heart so I think there is a good possibility that I will return. I just no longer have a schedule to go by for this blog.

This blog has acted like the imaginary people to care and are interested in my thoughts and adventures in character design. It has been very geeky, but I hope you enjoyed some of the blogs. When I am fangirling about a character archetype again, I will know to come here.

So, I won't be back for a while, but check every couple months, for you may find a returning blog.

Till next time, my dear audience. That's all from the cove!

Hello everyone and welcome back to another post of Cella's Cove! Today's post is special because I will be joined by two fellow bloggers and they will be helping me, as you can tell by the title, make characters! These two lovely ladies are Abby and Kristina . I will be walking you through a basic character creation for five characters and they will be aiding me in choosing certain characteristics.              So, what we have to establish first is the setting that they live in and exist in. Abby took care of that, since she is creating a plot line for our characters. Our setting is a modern day time and at a school, probably in the spring.         How does this relate to the characters?         Well, we know that their clothing won't mainly consist of parkas and uggs.  The Main Character  ...

Creator VS Character: Part 1

Hello folks and welcome back to yet another post of Celladora’s Character Cove! Maybe I should shorten it up for now, what do you think? Cella’s Cove?  Anyways, today we are going to be talking about character vs creator. As you may know from my introduction, I have many talented friends who also create characters. Today, I’d like to share some of my brief interviews with them. We’re going to be diving into how the creator and their characters actually have quite a bit in common.  A man of the arts, he writes poems and draws all of his characters. He single-handedly created an entire world for us all to put our characters in. A man full of creativity, goofiness and kindness, please welcome… MATT!!!! * Fabulous art by Matt Hi Matt! Give us a short description of your character, Dizil! Dizilia Avery Flowers, a behemoth lizard man standing at 8'3" and weighing 467 lbs. Dizil runs an underground fight club that keeps itself afloat via ...

Hello and welcome back to the second post of Celladora’s Character Cove! I’m Cella (or Lily), your writer, and today we have a very special guest joining us. Cue drumroll please... My good friend, Iris!  Yo, my name's Iris! As you know, I'm Lily's friend and I'm a massive nerd like her. I'm happy to be talking here! **TW: Cannibalism & blood. So, today we're going to be talking about a show on Netflix called Hannibal. Iris and I both binged the first two seasons and we are now watching the third season together. It's a crime show, surrounding Hannibal Lecter. As you can already assume, it's kinda a violent and graphic show. I wouldn't recommend those with weak stomachs to watch it. But what Iris and I love in general are villains or antagonists. Not just any antagonist but one that you get hooked on. Hannibal Lecter is a perfect example. If you think that Hannibal is close to the word cannibal, then that's funny, because he is in fa...
